Kittery Kids Academy is a special purpose school serving grades K-6, providing behavioral support services to students who have a mental health diagnosis such as conduct disorders, anxiety, depression, or PTSD. The school personnel blend education with mental health support, behavioral management skills and treatment plan implementation in order to help each child find success.

Compensation:

  • Fully Licensed Clinicians: $62,000-$70,000
  • Conditionally Licensed Clinicians: $60,000-$63,000 w/ $2,000 Increase after fully licensed!

Location: Kittery Kids Academy, in Kittery, Maine

General Summary:

As a Clinician for Kittery Kids Academy, you'll be an integral part of our team, building meaningful connections with resilient children. You'll provide individual and group therapy for students and work in collaboration with Behavioral Health Professionals within the Academy. Clinicians are provided with weekly individual supervision from the Clinical Coordinator and participate in a monthly consultation with our experienced clinical team.

This position follows the school year calendar with time off for school vacation weeks and includes a 6-week Extended School Year Program between July and August. Professional development is supported through agency-paid trainings and workshops.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling.
  • Must be a Masters Level Licensed Counselor / Social Worker (LMSW-cc or LCSW) or LCPC or LCPC-cc in the state of Maine.
  • Must hold a valid drivers license and proof of auto insurance.
